Pic 1.  Well the big box arrived safely and in good speed.

Pic 2.  There are times when you open a box and you realise the contents will never fit in the box ever again!  Well packed there Glenn.

Pic 3.  Everything exposed in their snug positions.

Pic 4.  Wing webs all supplied cut exactly to size.  I went through the bag stacking the webs in their assigned groups and wrapped them in an elastic band.

Pic 5.  The Dub-Bro 9.33" 1/3 scale wheels were worth purchasing with the kit as the exchange rate was favourable over other UK suppliers at that time. Worth checking out yourself!

Pic 6.  A radiator grill for the D.VII is cut ready to go, more trimming will be necessary when it comes to fitting the engine I am sure!

Pic 1.  Sturdy wire is supplied for the control surfaces.

Pic 2.  One of several bags containing "many parts", this one containing many small wood parts and the odd other thing.  Each item has been individually labelled by laser or with marker pen so I can identify the parts.

Pic 3.  The Ammo Box is part of the standard kit, not an extra as with some other GTM Kits.

Pic 4.  Another bag this time containing all the metal fixings etc. yet to be checked against the 10 page inventory check list.

Pic 5.  Ribs for the wings and undercarriage faring.

Pic 6.  A selection of wooden parts yet to be fully identified (though some can be worked out from their shape).

Pic 1.   We even get the J-Weld for the struts!

Pic 2.  A part that looks like it may have something to do with the radiator ;-\

Pic 3.  The "N" struts and other wing supports are all stamped, sized and numbered. The ply parts at the top of the picture are the wing tips.

Pic 4.  Carbon rods for the elevators, rudder and aileron parts. The other parts have yet to be identified.

Pic 5.  Many strips of balsa spruce and alike.  The fuselage can be built from dowel or square section strip.  I went for the dowel option.

Pic 6.  More wood, including in the foreground the Tail Skid, and some braces for the fuselage I think.

Pic 1.  The fuselage front sides made from sturdy ply wood and are really heavy items.

Pic 2.  Fuselage formers for the Fire Wall and alike.

Pic 3.  And a number of laser cut balsa and ply parts for various parts of the build such as control surface ribs, wing trailing edge and some packings.  All will come clear in the instructions I am sure.

Pic 4.  The card templates to make the rudder and Elevator, and Rudder frames, including some balsa parts attached to the surface for security in transit.

Pic 5.  Larger ply sheets for the fuselage some parts like the Turtle deck are pre-drilled ready to go such is the confidence of the fit.

Pic 6.  The ply leading edge sheeting for the wings.

Pic 1.   Metal sheet for fabricating parts of the front faring with template sheets included.

Pic 2.  Next a small kit to build the pilots seat including some lozenge fabric.

Pic 3.  One of the nice features of the kit is the option to have different versions of the D.VII to represent  the various factories that were building the aircraft during the war.  Glenn took my MID OAW machine requirement and used that as a basis for one of the options so I have a very good skin almost complete for my job.  Louvres have to be manufactured as there were so many variations.

Pic 4.  Finally the instructions which run into several sections each individually stapled together.

I am currently waiting for the Cockpit Kit, Dummy Engine, and the front lower cowl.  These parts have not been finalised yet and will be supplied as soon as they are available.  I am long away from needing them.

This is the first D.VII kit supplied by Glenn and while checking the parts list which runs into 10 pages, I have noticed a few discrepancies that Glenn will correct for future orders.  Nothing to cause a show stopper, but minor "housekeeping" issues more than anything.
